About
Lani Boschulte
Originally from Columbia Maryland, Lani Boschulte began performing from an early age. Engaging in music and theatre in her local community has inspired much of her current work today. In high school, she began to expand her horizons to the technical front where she became the sound engineer for a student jazz band.
She came to New York in 2020 to attend Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University. As part of the International Performance Ensemble, a cohort-based devised theatre program, Lani learned about physical theatre, the Alexander Technique, and the teachings of the Le Coq method. It was through this program that she debuted several works including the devised show 29 Memory Lane, A Directors Lab: Woyzeck, and The Original Sin as a part of Pace Makers at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona.
Recently she has assistant directed many shows including 9 to 5 under Rebecca Murillo and Pumpernickel under Keelay Gibson. She is incredibly grateful for each of these experiences and for getting the opportunity to work with these individuals. Currently, she is a reoccurring director for an internet series Hurt, and a Production Student Assistant for Sands School of Performing Arts. She hopes to continue to create many more works in the future through all of her avenues of artistic expression.
